Prams

There is a myriad of options available to you and shopping for prams can do your head in, but you will need one. You need to think about what you will need it for because there are different prams for different purposes – that might seem obvious, but there’s no point getting a massive beast of a pram if all you need it for is taking your child to the supermarket or getting on public transport. I would think most families have a few prams – there’s the general purpose pram like a Phil and Ted’s or Mountain Buggy which can pretty much go anywhere but are a little bit cumbersome, there’s the lightweight fold up type based on the McLaren model (which department stores sell versions of) which doesn’t take up much room and fits easily through supermarket checkouts, there is also the sports pram which you can go jogging with, the pimped up Skoda Man Pram… 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, etc, etc.  The modern pram however is multipurpose, lightweight and manouverable and can fold up quickly and fit into the back of the car. Safety First, Strider and the top of the range Bugaboo all fit the bill, but I am noticing more and more brands pop up when I take my kids down the park and they all look pretty similar.
